I visited Sokha Angkor in late July, travelling with my parents and all the first time to Siem Reap. The 2-bed room was clean and spacious even with an extra bed in it. Good wifi. Great breakfast, plentiful of options. Great location, just a couples of minutes of walk one can get to the night market, yet its location is quiet and undisturbed.
What really impressed me were their helpful staff. My parents could only speak Chinese, and the hotel had a staff who could speak fluent Chinese, and she provided many suggestions to help us plan our tour in Siem Reap. Another time we decided to venture farther and needed to rent a car for an one-day trip, and the concierge was
also proven to be helpful. These were just examples of many times that the staff offered warm help.
Room Tip: Get the room near the pool-side (as opposed to the city-side) for better view and less noise. Higher...
Great hotel with very friendly helpful staff, good Wifi. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice, excellent cafe with good coffee and wonderful cakes and pastries- the French influence. Great location. Within an easy stroll of the main shopping and dining area, but far enough from the crowds of pub street. The food of Cambodia is a multicultural mix of western (French) and Asian not as spicy or fragrant as Vietnam or Malaysia. The temples are a must do, it won't be long before the authorities will stop people walking and climbing over these amazing temples, at the moment you are free to wander around the sites without restrictions. Top tip for Siem Reap, change your money into American dollars, makes things much
easier, a lot of the businesses don't like the local currency.
Sokha hotel is one of the best hotels I have ever been to in the world. Their exterior is amazing but the interior was even more amazing. The reason I love about this hotel is because the staff is always ready to serve you. When I was wandering and looking for a trash can in the lobby, one staff approached me and said Can I help you and took my trash for me. Also, when I did not want my room to be cleaned one day, they left me a note with a number to contact them for anything I want since they weren't allowed to clean the room. The hotel allows a late-check out, so I checked out at 2 instead of 12. Even after you check out, you can still use their pool and sauna room and shower. They have a safe storage room for your luggages.
Breakfast buffet is amazing and the entire building seemed to be very clean. Doormen are always there to open the door for you and to get a tuktuk for you. They are extremely kind. Sokha would be one of the reasons for me to return to Siem Reap!
I stay at the Sokha Hotel Siem Reap Cambodia, met a Front Counter Receptionist, Miss So Sor Kimsour. Glad to become FB friends. Unexpectedly, after four days when I checked out, carelessly left behind my granddaughter's few pieces of dresses at the hotel, but will have to leave to Vietnam very shortly. Miss Kimsour was very professional with her kind services, went out of her way and arrived at the airport to return the clothes back give me. Miss Sor Kimsour, Sister in the dharma, you are so kind, thank you very much again. Really, given the chance, make many more friends. Amitabha. Thank you, the Hotel Managements for giving permission, for Miss Sor to leave her work place to rush to the airport. Thank you very much.

Wonderful hotel with great rooms and the pool was delightful. The beds are huge! Only stayed a few nights would of preferred longer. Easy to get into the town, they have guys waiting to take you in just organise and agree to a fee before you go. A general store across the road with a bank to access money.
