Friendly staff greeting you on arrival and very helpful. Reasonable size room with extra large king size bed. Lovely view of the large swimming pool from the balcony, even more enchanting during the night. Ideal location in town: walking distance to "Killing Field" and short taxi ride to
Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. Breakfast is very average, typical of "beach resort".
Other TA reviews were spot on! This is a true 5 star resort centrally located. Breakfast buffet was included with our King size pool side room, and the quality and variety was excellent. We never encountered any staff member that did not say "hello" and they always had a smile. The evening turn down
bed service came with a sweet treat left on the table. Airport pickup service was also included with our room. ---Special note for TA members that like a big shower with strong water pressure: Our room had a large tub with separate large shower. The shower head adjusted for extra tall guests and there was always plenty of hot water. Upon our return to the room in the evening we were left with extra clean bath towels by the evening bed turn down service staff. The salt water swimming pool with waterfalls and pool side cocktail service was most enjoyable. Cocktail nuts were always provided with drinks. Extra bonus!? The pool staff came around with ice cold towels to freshen up! I would book this hotel again and am certain fellow TA members would enjoy this fine property!
Room Tip:King size room, pool side, with strong free wifi is good value

It.s in the centre. It takes five minutes to go to Beer Street where you can find pubs restaurants exchange offices etc. Good.
Stayed in the Sokha for 3 days for a visit to Angkor Wat. From the moment I was met at the airport to the moment I departed I was made to feel extremely welcome. Check in was done while I was allowed to relax in the lobby, room was very spacious and the bed almost too comfortable... i
didn't want to get up. Excursions arranged by the staff were excellent (Quad Bike tour, Sunrise over Angkor Wat, the war museum). Pool is spectacular and being a salt water pool, is wonderful to float away your stress. Breakfast is excellent with all tastes catered for. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Siem Reap
