My husband and I stayed for 5 nights over Christmas as a part of our Honeymoon. We arrived to be greeted with a wonderfully decorated room with rose petals and a honeymoon cake waiting for us which was lovely - and we were also upgraded to a deluxe pool view room. The resort is in a great location - about a 10 minute walk to Pub Street (the main street in Siem Reap with bars/clubs/restaurants/markets) and 10 minutes by Tuk Tuk to the Temples of Angkor. The breakfast buffet was amazing - lots of western and more local dishes to choose from. The pool is lovely too - but you'll need to get there early to get a good spot as it can get quite busy! The stay at Sokha Angkor was great! Comfortable room, friendly staff & great ambience! The pool view room has a nice view of the swimming pool & hotel over the balcony. And hotel location is near the night market!

The location of the hotel is good. It is close to the airport and the night markets. Just use a tuk-tuk. The service level of the hotel staff was excellent. Ask for second floor room facing the pool which is quieter. There is a Japanese restaurant at the ground floor which serves pretty decent meals.
