Stayed at hotel for 2 nights. Great resort facilities and restaraunts. Comfortable rooms. Special mention to great staff, particular mention to the young lady at reception Kimsur. I arrived to check in with my partner who was extremely distressed and unwell, suffering heat exhaustion and possible food poisoning. Kimsur immediately and without hesitation showed us into our rooms and arranged for a doctor to attend to my partner within minutes. She completed check in once my partner was comfortable. Later, when we sought further medical attention, Kimsur again arranged this promptly, and provided further comfort and support over and above what was expected from a
staff member at the checking desk. So thank you to Kimsur and other friendly staff who offered support and made our visit pleasant in difficult circumstances.
It was a wonderful week in Siem Reap for our conference with time to enjoy sightseeing of the Angkor temples and shopping at the night market as well as enjoying the traditional massages. The hotel was well located and it was easy to get around from it. The hotel staff made me feel very welcomed and the room ambience was fantastic with the greenery outside complementing the lovely wooden furnishing in the room. This was my 3rd visit to Siem Reap and the best hotel I stayed at here.

Angkor Wat had been on my "bucket list" for years, and in March, 2016 I was able to check it off my list. What was completely unexpected though was my stay at the Sokha Hotel Resort. Wow! I am a pretty good researcher, but choosing a place to stay in Siem Reap ws difficult. Every place listed claimed to be, and actually had good references. I threw a dart and booked at Sokha. I really didn't pay much attention to where we would be staying since we were so keyed in on Angkor Wat. A 5* hotel, yes! Everything about Sokha is first class!.
