Sokha fulfills market demand to open 3,200 sqm “Sokha Fitness” in Siem Reap (Back to Press)

The new 3,200sqm Fitness & well-being facility responds to a long-standing need to provide Siem Reap with improved Fitness and recreation facilities. It will also be a community resource, allowing individuals and families in the surrounding areas access to facilities and resources to support healthy, active lifestyles.

Siem Reap, Cambodia (August 08, 2016) – Sokha Hotels & Resorts today announces the launch of Sokha Fitness”. Mr. Tony Bui, joined Sokha Fitness recently to head up the a team of Fitness professionals providing a vast array of performance workouts, Tony has been based in Siem Reap for 4 years and brings a high performance background having personally reached the summit of Mt Everest in 2008 as well as representing at the Asian Games.

Mr Bui said, “This new Fitness complex, has natural, light, air-conditioned workout rooms and will feature: Fitness space for Cardio, Mind & Body, Strength & conditioning & Dance and high performance workouts, its exactly what Siem Reap has been waiting for as most Fitness facility in Siem reap have only provided up to 120sqm of space”

Director of Spa, Ms Yanni Gaspar-Frivaldo from Philippines said the fitness centre is complimented by Sokha’s Spa Brand “Jasmine Spa” which features 21 treatment rooms , including Jacuzzi & Sauna facilities Outdoor facilities will include a 1,050sqm Salt water Swimming pool, complimented by a 2,800sqm pool terrace which will hold early morning Tai Chi classes & Yoga for up to 200 members. The combined facility is the largest in Siem Reap and due to open as part of the new 770 room Sokha Siem Reap Resort in September 2016
