we stayed with a tour in this hotel. it was a were good hotel, all the staff were on there toes, and very frindley.we had a room overlooking the garden, and a massive king size bed, huge bathroom.
the breakfast was very good too, and so was the dinners,
the hotel was only minutes away from shops, and there were plenty off tuk tuks,
we loved it there, and wished we could have stayed longer. thank you for a lovely stay at Siem Reap.

I love everything about Sokha Angkor Resort most especially the food and the room (pool view). :D

However, I was just wondering why I had to insist to the front desk and the concierge the inclusions in our hotel package (luxury package). It appeared to me that the totality of the booking did not appear in Sokha system. The concierge had to direct us to the front desk and the front desk had to point us back to the concierge. I still had to retrieve my print out from the room and show the items included.

Despite there being a few misunderstandings at check in on the package I was under, we ended up being very satisfied with our stay at the Sokha Angkor. Staff were very accommodating and kind to my children, they even allowed us a free late check out.
Highly recommend to or families and sole travellers alike.

A real 5 star hotel - rooms were large with an top bathroom (separate large bath and wet room shower). Plenty of good quality toiletries and water replenished twice a day if required. The pool area was fantastic and the food was very reasonably priced. Excellent location to visit Angkor Wat and surrounding temples. Staff were extremely friendly and this was great value for money.

Room Tip: “Choose room overlooking pool”

Strange to say that a hotel is too quiet but as a solo traveller, I found it a rather lonely experience staying at the Sokha resort. The service was great, the prices were very reasonable for such a high-quality establishment and the facilities were excellent (well, those that were open, which unfortunately didn't include their in-house pub): but most of the time there was no-one around.

I quickly tired of finding myself alone in the bar (which had so few patrons it was empty by 10pm and closed by eleven) and in the restaurants (I like Japanese food but not having a whole restaurant to myself). The pool was great and the room was large, immaculate and very nice. The only busy time was at breakfast (which was
